1. Forgetting to format essay-type writing (as in the Narrative Project and Profile) with print-style paragraphs, with no space between paragraphs and indented first lines. 
2. Forgetting to do the reflective writing for the ePortfolio itself, which is a requirement.
3. Not italicizing things that need it, whether in MLA entries or in the body of the documents themselves, and I'm not just talking about the annotated bibliography. When you mention things like book titles, or CD titles, or movies, for instance, those titles should be italicized! That goes for capitalization, too.

Finally, I've worked to support your efforts, and you've worked to develop these projects. I'm excited to see what you've accomplished here. 

Getting Started with the ePortfolio

Note that I've now posted the official instructions for the ePortfolio to our Project Requirements tab above (or just click here to see them).

This is the template we'll use for the ePortfolio. The process is really about as simple as clicking "Use Template," but I do have materials planned to help you—really, all this involves is taking my template and revising the text with your own material, and then adding your completed major project files to your site.

So, the thing is, in my online courses (and my course from last semester), I have a visual walkthrough of how to set up and edit your ePortfolio using Google Sites. It's housed on BlackBoard. I hope you don't mind that I don't feel like recreating the whole thing for our blog. What I have done is post the tutorial to our BlackBoard site, under the heading "ePortfolio Tutorial."

Also, quick reminder that once you create your site, you just have to head over to Google Sites (sites.google.com) any time you want to make changes to it.
